RE-Alliance is working with Farmers for Climate Action and the Australian National University (ANU) to understand the barriers to electrification for farming and other small regional and rural businesses - and we want to hear from you.
Join one of our workshops to hear the latest on current electrification options for rural and regional farms and other businesses, with tips from an expert in the field on considerations for your own business – and a chance for an initial free one-on-one consultation.
The event will start with a presentation from Dr Paolo Corrada from Impact Zero – a passionate advocate for sustainability and renewable energy solutions, with over 30 years of experience in energy efficiency. After a chance for some Q&A, we'll move into smaller groups so you can share your experiences on any barriers that you have experienced, or think will arise, from adopting electrification and renewable energy. We will use the information you provide to help to identify solutions and advocate for these solutions to be implemented.
This workshop will be held in Biloela on Tuesday 1 September 2026, 9:30am - 12:30pm, with a light lunch provided after the workshop. RSVP to receive location details.
We’re also pleased to be able to offer workshop participants a free 15min initial consultation with Dr Corrada on what electrification options might be best for your own home or business premises. Up to 8 spots are available on a first come, first served based. Indicate your interest in a free initial consultation when you RSVP and we’ll be in touch with more information.
Not based around Biloela? You can RSVP to our workshop in Longreach here. Our partner Farmers for Climate Action is running workshops in Shepparton (1 September 2026), Albury (2 September 2026) and Corryong (3 September 2026). You can RSVP for those workshops here, or RSVP for an online workshop here (8 September 2026).
