We’re excited to be recruiting for three new roles to join the RE-Alliance team in 2025!

We're a small and growing team of staff, spread out across regional Australia, dedicated to a renewable energy shift that delivers sustainable, long-term benefits for rural and regional communities.

We're hiring for a:

Regional Programs Manager

  • Play a vital role supporting local governments and regional development practitioners living and working across rural and regional Australia and leading the shift to renewable energy at the local level.
  • Key responsibilities: project management, event coordination, online facilitation, stakeholder engagement.
  • Location: anywhere in Australia.

Policy Officer

  • Work in the policy team to identify and promote policy and practice to ensure the shift to renewables delivers lasting, tangible benefits for regional communities.
  • Key responsibilities: policy research, coordination and management of policy activities, stakeholder engagement, communications and advocacy.
  • Location: anywhere on the east coast of Australia.

NSW Community Engagement Manager

  • Work with NSW regional communities, local governments and the renewable energy industry to help ensure the shift to renewables benefits local regional economies and communities.
  • Key responsibilities: broad stakeholder engagement, capacity building, advocacy.
  • Location: preferably located in regional NSW.
