This report shares the key themes and messages from our inaugural Regional Leaders Summit. The Summit brought together more than 90 rural and regional leaders working in or alongside local government, regional development and community organisations. They gathered in Newcastle NSW in August 2025, and over two days they connected with each other, and shared stories, lessons and experiences as they work at the local level to maximise opportunities and reduce risk in the shift to renewable energy.
