This year, RE-Alliance:
- Expanded our on-the-ground presence to every state on Australia’s eastern seaboard, supporting the growing number of host communities in Renewable Energy Zones
- Brought authentic community voices to an industry space at the Australian Clean Energy Summit
- Commended the transmission host payments announced by the New South Wales, Victorian and Queensland governments, for which our policy team had advocated for eighteen months
- Launched Australia’s first 'Better Practice: Renewables and Biodiversity Guide', born from a collaboration with government and industry partners to ensure that renewable energy developments protect our natural and cultural heritage
- Joined the Australian Energy Market Operator’s (AEMO) Advisory Council on Social Licence, which is recognition of our contribution to high level discussions around solutions with energy and government bodies
