Electrification – swapping diesel, gas and other non-electric fuel-powered equipment and machinery for electric alternatives – gives farmers and businesses more control over their energy costs and supply. Electrification with renewable energy also supports efforts to cut carbon emissions – something customers are increasingly asking for.

Electrification will not be right for every business immediately. But for many farms and small businesses it can offer more independence, lower running costs and greater resilience.
