This map shows all the renewable projects in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, including projects in the planning pipeline, and their commitments to community benefits.
We try to keep it relatively up-to-date, but it's best to check each project's website for the most recent information. If you're with one of the projects and don't think the information here is accurate, get in touch with Cait at [email protected].
How to use it:
Projects are colour-coordinated by type (solar or wind) and status (in planning, approved, in construction, or operational). Click on one of the project icons on the map. A sidebar will appear showing the project name, website, and other information about the project. The sidebar also shows if the project has yet committed to various types of community benefits including community grant funds, neighbour payments, as well as the amount of CO2 it is set to reduce from our atmosphere.
